WORK WITH IVY

Ivy Wahome Designs is a mix of African perspective and modern composition.  A native of Kenya, Ivy creates statement pieces tailored to the individual. With more than fifteen years experience and an eye for detail, she works closely with clients to create long-lasting, treasured pieces.

Costume Consultations - $18/hr
If you’re interested in working with Ivy, schedule an appointment to brainstorm your vision and the design she will create for you.

Costume Creations - $20/hr (+ cost of fabric & supplies)
Ivy will provide a cost estimate after the first meeting. For projects over $300, a down payment will be negotiated and paid before Ivy begins the project. For organizations, Ivy charges a travel fee to be discussed upon meeting.

Collaboration
Ivy appreciates trades and collaborations, with clear parameters established before a project begins to ensure there is a fair and equal exchange of energy and resources for all parties.

Artistic Agreements
Wear Ivy’s work with pride. It is not cultural appropriation to wear African fabrics and designs when made by an African artist. You can proudly share with admirers that you are wearing an original Ivy Wahome, and please tag @IvyWahome on photos you post. Photos of your personal creation will be posted on Ivy’s website.
